A lovely hotel.

David was very helpful and attentive to my hot water problem. Water was cold and he was responsible for fixing it so my showers were nice and hot. Room service was nice when I had to stay in my room.

Dinner menu in the restaurant was limited. Would have liked more choices.

Great location, very comfy beds and charming boutique hotel

Very Comfortable beds, charming old building. Rooms were spotless. We couldn’t make breakfast due to our flight so they kindly prepared a small breakfast of fruit and bread to take with us. Breakfast included was pretty good. Location is amazing.

Beware of the noise. The rooms all face the central courtyard which is a bar and music was playing loudly until almost midnight and kept us awake (doors are old and not sound proof). Also no conditioner in the bathroom so come prepared if you need it! Pictures of the outdoor pool weren’t very representative. It was a bit of a letdown as it’s quite small.

Dreaming of returning, a romantic colonial stay in gorgeous Merida with attentive staff and amazing location.

I would live here!!! A converted 1800s mansion with internal courtyard and outdoor patio for delicious breakfast (try pancakes). The location allowed for easy access to the beauty of Merida. The pool is small but delightful after a hot day enjoying the town. The staff were all lovely, thank you all so much for engaging in conversation and making Merida one of our favourite holiday locations. We’re already dreaming of coming back.

Due to road construction there was noise to midnight. The bathroom is very small but has delicious smelling soap. The internet reception was lacking. Not really big concerns.

Good location and breakfast, no SPA.

The service is always great. The location is very central. And the Breakfast is good.

We picked the hotel as our last day in Yucatán. We specifically chose this one because of the SPA facilities. But in reality, they only have massages. When we asked about the facilities, they also said they have facials and treatments. We tried to explain what we meant but had no success. Spa facilities are one or all of the following: jacuzzi, cold showers, salt rooms, hammam, sauna, massage showers, open baths etc. In this hotel Spa facilities are a room for massages and treatments. We had to stay because it was not refundable, but it was not what we were looking for on our last night in a beautiful country.

Wonderful

The location in the center is perfect. The staff is very professional and nice. The hotel looks like a charming ancient hacienda.

We chose this hotel partly because of the swimming pool and only used it once as it didn’t seem very clean or well managed, which is surprising given that the rest of the terrace/garden is clean and well kept. I think it’s an improvement that can be achieved easily to male this hotel perfect!

Superb Location, ambiance, rooms, comfort and staff. Perfect place to visit beautiful Merida.

This was my 2nd stay at Piedra del Agua and I'd happily stay here once again. The location is really good in the center of Merida with bars, restaurants and parks on walking distance. The hotel itself is a place of rest and serenity, where you can escape from the busy streets and relax in the marvelous rooms or in the beautiful garden with the refreshing swimingpool. Food options and drinks are great and reasonably priced. The staff is ever so friendly and helpful. Rooms are super clean, have great beds and superb showers with nice honey based soaps and shampoos.

The location is great and the staff were very friendly. it’s a beautiful property.

Mr room at the front of the hotel was very noisy — on a busy street with no sound proofing. The hotel lobby is beautiful— but could be cleaned better.

Great location, beautiful hotel, shame about the pool

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Room had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice lounge area and outside seating area.

The included continental breakfast was a bit thin on the ground but we did get more bread when we asked for it. We had expected a bit more given the quality of the hotel and the money we had paid. Unfortunately, the pool looked dirty and not very inviting. The place was a bit quiet so lacked atmosphere (could be the time of year).

Fine stay in Merida

The room really had a nice smell and a nice big bed. Most of the staff was sweet and kind and the Wi-Fi was really good.

The room is quite small but it is okay for just a few nights. The breakfast was very poor - I would recommend not serving guests breakfast when serving that little.

The swimming pool is not like photos. The place for swimming and to have breakfast/lunch/dinner if full of pigeons and dirty (not livable).
